Thanks to Lorraine I was given the complete fitness makeover. Initially Lorraine created a personalized workout and nutrition plan that provided me with the quick results I was looking for. After being diagnosed with Lupus Erythematous my body weight was a tiny 5st 4lbs. On a 5’7’’ frame this was not a good look!! My hair was falling out, my eyesight was failing dramatically, and my nails were just rotting away! As part of my recovery process it was suggested that I should join a gym to try and gain a bit more weight and muscle tone. It wasn’t easy for me to make this transition as my body had become so thin I was nervous about having to expose any part of it!! With my self esteem at an all time low I decided to bite the bullet and start exercising again.

My first personal training session with Rob took place 5 years ago now!!! I haven’t looked back!!! What I wasn’t prepared for was how healthy I would feel both physically and mentally. I gradually started to gain some shape and lean muscle , shopping was enjoyable again. I wasn’t self consciousa bout my body and as my fitness levels improved so did my confidence and I am now the Operations Manager of a gym and am qualified to teach classes!!!!.

I approached Rob to help me with my Police fitness test which was a mile and a half run. His input was second to none as I was guided through a regime that saw me take over a minute off my personal best.
In the first 2 months working with Rob I had already begun to notice how much fitter I was getting. His guidance, attention to detail and experience definitely show during his sessions as it was easy to rest assure I was in good hands.

The big thing for me was also my upper body strength. Rob had me combining aerobic with anaerobic exercise to achieve maximum results and now I feel physically lighter but stronger and have much more confidence that is important in my line of work.What else I found to be a pleasantsurprise is that Rob genuinely cares. He shows this, not only by the way he trains but also by numerous email correspondence advising what to do in the road to recovery for the next session. Rob also has a sound knowledge and belief in nutrition and taught me how crucial it relates to performance.
 
Unlike other personal trainers, Rob maintains his own fitness levels to a very high standard which is an inspiration.
